Legend Beach Party...goodbye Gilli Air

Well it was fair to say that Legend bar provided a smashing beach party, with reggae-house hitting the shores till the early hours. Being a Muslim island no shops sold alcohol so it was pre-drinking on England prices, buying a bottle from a bar at a battered price of £15. The bar boys got to work...
As you enter the dance arena/sand pit you are greeted by the neon filled sound booth, probably quite a scary site if you've had one too many!
Very popular with the Bali expats, the events are a throw back to the acid house revolution of yesteryear.
Gilli Airs answer to Glastonbury's Shangri La
As the sun rose, monkey man went to fetch some fresh coconut to kick back and enjoy over breakfast. This guy climbs trees in seconds, insanely quick!
Dogs will mysteriously disappear on the Gilli Islands, probably off to Vietnam for a soup but here's the Hotel cat with her litter....
With a tough day ahead climbing a volcanoe in 40 degree heat, this evenings activities were set, movie time in the bamboo cinema...
It's worth mentioning that the hotel staff are amazing here, anything you need, they will make it available, from fetching you films, extending your visa to hosting a local meal.
