Sunset fishing

Determined to catch some more fish it was all aboard the vessel for some sunset fishing...
The sea was unbelievably flat, even being super deep you could still see the bottom...
As the sun began to set the fish came out to play, catching some good white snapper...
Save this bad boy for dinner...
Nice little sunset with volcanic Bali in the background...
Great cloud shot...
Check out that sea....
Take your catch to a nearby restaurant, get it BBQd and it's all yours for free!
Being the last night the group had a farewell food binge at the Chillout restaurant. Tuna steaks, marlin kebabs, beef rendang curries, stone baked pizas, the kitchen never worked so hard! Good night Gilli Air, Bali tomorrow...

Fishing with DOLPHINS!!

After a morning on the dive boat everyone was a bit too excited by the fish and the boat trip was sorted! A quick call to a captain and the vessel arrived minutes later, geared up with Bintang on board. What wasn't mentioned was the possibility of bumping into dolphins in the first 2 minutes, only metres from the shore...
The boat took us into the deep seas past Lombok, selfie time...
Line fishing on the way with our local fisherman Django...
Rods in and the fish came to play, catching some small red snappers, rainbow fish and the odd rock/fish...

Can't complain hanging around for a fish here really...
Lads and their rods...
Going for a long cast, fingers crossed...
Turned out this one was going to need the two of us...
What felt like minutes of pain tugging this beast in turned into hours...
TUNA TIME...
As the sun set and the clouds passed over we found ourselves surrounded in this great sunset cruising back to the island for dinner...

Sunset to sunrise...

Sunset bar it was, listening to some edgy chill out music and sipping some large "bloddy I'ce cold Bintangs mayte"...
Pre drinks started in a new location tonight, the minimart! With air con, hardcore techno speakers and an unlimited drink supply there aren't many better places...
Even the shop staff will get involved...
Ruhdys, the nicest bloke on Gilli T, with a smile that makes me look depressed arrived with 25 sachets of Extra Joss. A lethal concoction of vitamins, taurine and cafine this stuff will send you nuts...
Playing a game of cheat with this guy was merely impossible...
Team photo. Looking pretty tanned. Joss vodka double doubles in hand...
Brooooo
We ended up at the surf shack, an outdoor beach rave playing till sunrise. Unfortunatly no phones made it out until sunrise but this 6am shot summed it up...
Another great rise...
The gillis do the best pizzas...get one of these down you and you will feel magic...
Remember, always bring shades to the beach...
The last day on Gilli t was spent on one of these beauties, sink into one and your not getting out...
Goodbye Gilli Trawangan, you crazy island...Gilli Air for some luxury bungalows and an excessive amount of amazing food!
Welce back Gilli air...
Having been in solid humid 35 degrees the breeze was much welcome!!

Day 4 - Eng v Aus - Morning session @ Trawangan Stadium

England won the toss and it was Mozza to open, after a poor previous season he was looking to regain his recent form...however this was not the case as he only managed to scrape four runs at the Trawangan stadium (waiting for the island hopper at the local boat station)...
Things were getting pretty heated after a Lee #4 slog fest so it was time to get the helmets out...
Lee #5 was howling some balls down the wicket, competing with the local mosque...
The conditions weren't favouring the dampened australin bowling attack with Price being dispatched all around the park
Mozza was kicking off at the local passers by, rudely pitch invading so the drinks break was taken early with England finishing on 68 for 1
...a trip to the juice bar to replenish h2o levels for the afternoon session with England looking to build on their lead.

Vietnam Videos!

Landing in Kualarlumpur on the new double decker A380...
One of the first trips, to Ha Long Bay, a world heritage site made from thousands of tiny islands, caves and floating villages...
Just some of the crazy traffic in Hanoi, this bloke have us a great tour of the city...

This was Mumma from Da Lat Family hostel going on a singing rampage cooking and force feeding frenzie, very amusing, even better in slow mo

The following day we ventured into the Da Lat jungle to absail the waterfalls, here's a vid of the water slides...

Shark point diving - Dive pics now up!

With the sun beeming down and a calm see good visibility was on the cards. Shark point at 2pm to hopefully see some white tips, turtles and the famous blue dotted manta trunk. If you don't fancy it then you could get the party boat...
One of the hundreds of cats on the island. See the clip in its ear? That means it's a pet and it probably won't give you a disease! Cats here only eat rice, give them tuna or gocat and they will turn their noses up.
Some rustic edgy seating at the dive school...
With an island that has no police or law system, you may be wondering why this bloke is walking around with a rifle and a big chest? Every week these guys rock up with billions of rupees to stock up the cash machines...
They also come to stock up the Bintang, zoom in on this boat and you will see hundreds of boxes of the stuff...
Dive time, cheeky little action shot...
Max, ready to sink the bottom...
Ready to head down. The dive schools here are super chilled, even if you aren't diving you are welcome on the boat with free usage of the snorkeling gear. As soon as you hop in there are tens of turtles living the dream....
Some more turtles in action...
The poisonous sea snake going vons deep...
Time up, to the surface, pretty cool shot of the glass BOTTOM...(haha)
If you don't fancy the boat back then catch the sea bike...
