V Fest 2014 - chic, Goldie lookin chain, Damian Marley & the Wailers, sub focus, chase & status, Tom Odell, Bastille and justin timberlake,

Well V surprised us all, in what was anticipated as a 'radio 1 style' standard festival line-up into a jammed packed weekend of very contrasting performances. Not to forget the nylon army of Goldie lookin chain rappers tearing up the stage...
The weekend warmed up with all the usual stupidly random stuff, ever drank your tea from a bowl and eaten your cereal from a mug?
Accompanied to this there wasn't much work going on leading up to the opening, a lot of sitting around shall we say...
England's abysmal World Cup campaign still hadn't disheartened the teams to dabble into a wee bit of lunch time 11-a-side backstage main stage...
With the V-style boutique camp set-up time to enjoy what was arguably one of the best camp-sites so far, featuring it's very own lake by your luxury hotel bell tent...
Every morning security kindly dropped the usual iron railings inprisoning campers to reveal a pretty nice lake side view...
On the subject of security, one of the most ridiculous and tightest operations ever seen at any festival so far. Don't expect to get a drop of alcohol through and do expect to pay a fiver a pint! With suspicions of security confiscating booze and stashing it for their own benefit (criminals) punters were only lead to some quality pre-lash antics....
Into the arena, with Chic ft Nyall Rogers providing a 'helluva' show, with a grand finale and a big on stage party...
The festival provided a good all round show from Goldie lookin chain, chic, the killers, bastille, sub focus, chase & status,  Tom Odell, justin timberlake and even Damian Marley & the Wailers...
Evenings rocked on way past the final acts at the coctail coctail bar which saw some fine dancing and some cracking outfits...
Many a morning were of course spent replenishing fluids and Chinning some 'life'...
Scott the chicken (probably the best guest ever) was always at hand coming over with complementary fry-ups, teas, coffees, soups etc etc...(thank you Scott!)
Another afternoon at crew camp getting ready for the evening acts and some more quality dress ware from the cracking on site charity 'vintage' shop...
Justin Timberlake was set to close the festival on what turned out to be a great evening...
Featuring an amazing brass band, guitarists and of course some decent enough dance moves to inspire every male member of the audience to get to dance school...
With the festival over it was time to head back to camp and hit the hay, no-one would've expected to be greeted to the site of four burning vans...(fortunately no injuries)
V done, time to scour the fields for some festival left overs, unlimited supplies of beers for the next event...
Creamfields get ready!
