Creamfields - a weekend of carnage seeing Kove, Blonde, MJ Cole, Friction, Linguistics, Andy C, Subfocus, Skream, Steve Angelo, Annie Mac, Breach and MANY MORE!

Well, the title says it all, a huge lineup, some huge names and some very long nights. One of the "shots of the festival", Annie Mac with an unbelievable LED board behind...
The convoy had left V Festival in true team style...
And arrived in an already mud torn field and an army of police and sniffer dogs. With such tight security and searches of every car one wondered how such a festival had such a reputation. Suspicions must arrive of some sort of "inside" job. With the setup smashed out in record time the hours to spare were spent exploring the arena. Just one of the ten or so stages to host the weekends madness...
With the evening turning round the team assembled, with a return of the special guests, the "interns" aka "the shrewsberrys"...
Guy on the right there, Sid look a like from project x...?
Night one got away with a solid set from sub focus with some pretty sweet lighting . Everyone expects a rough crowd at cream due to certain nearby geographical locations however the crowd was great, everyone loving the music and always a chance to get up close...
Other great acts of night one were the likes of Kove, friction, max linguistics, blonde and andy c. All accompanied by more great visuals..
There was plenty of crowd surfing and on shoulder action, another cracking shot...
All seemed odd how short bar queues, high sales of sunglasses and large gatherings around water taps could lead to people of below...
Night two saw the likes of Steve angelo with another cracking performance and some serious bass line...
Expect not just to get showered in sweat though....
Breach put on another great show featuring the classic hit "jack" and "everything we ever had" as below...
Some more on shoulder shots....
Shortly followed by the legendary Duke Dumont...
With Tiesto pulling out on the closing act, crows headed over to the south stage for some Calvin Harris. Having seen this set now three times this summer, attention was drawn more to the intense light, laser and firework show...

Festival over and time for a lively Monday morning wake up. A festival wouldn't be complete with a tent fire would it...
With the tidy up set to begin, numbers were drawn from the bowl to see who were to sort the worse tents...
A solid day wouldn't be complete with one of Tettys solid culinary delights. A cheeky dish of tender pink Greek lamb, feta salad, sweet tomato greens and garlic potatoes...
Six festivals down and with potentially one more to go, the blog ain't doing bad at almost 5,000 views, nice one guys.
See you later!

V Fest 2014 - chic, Goldie lookin chain, Damian Marley & the Wailers, sub focus, chase & status, Tom Odell, Bastille and justin timberlake,

Well V surprised us all, in what was anticipated as a 'radio 1 style' standard festival line-up into a jammed packed weekend of very contrasting performances. Not to forget the nylon army of Goldie lookin chain rappers tearing up the stage...
The weekend warmed up with all the usual stupidly random stuff, ever drank your tea from a bowl and eaten your cereal from a mug?
Accompanied to this there wasn't much work going on leading up to the opening, a lot of sitting around shall we say...
England's abysmal World Cup campaign still hadn't disheartened the teams to dabble into a wee bit of lunch time 11-a-side backstage main stage...
With the V-style boutique camp set-up time to enjoy what was arguably one of the best camp-sites so far, featuring it's very own lake by your luxury hotel bell tent...
Every morning security kindly dropped the usual iron railings inprisoning campers to reveal a pretty nice lake side view...
On the subject of security, one of the most ridiculous and tightest operations ever seen at any festival so far. Don't expect to get a drop of alcohol through and do expect to pay a fiver a pint! With suspicions of security confiscating booze and stashing it for their own benefit (criminals) punters were only lead to some quality pre-lash antics....
Into the arena, with Chic ft Nyall Rogers providing a 'helluva' show, with a grand finale and a big on stage party...
The festival provided a good all round show from Goldie lookin chain, chic, the killers, bastille, sub focus, chase & status,  Tom Odell, justin timberlake and even Damian Marley & the Wailers...
Evenings rocked on way past the final acts at the coctail coctail bar which saw some fine dancing and some cracking outfits...
Many a morning were of course spent replenishing fluids and Chinning some 'life'...
Scott the chicken (probably the best guest ever) was always at hand coming over with complementary fry-ups, teas, coffees, soups etc etc...(thank you Scott!)
Another afternoon at crew camp getting ready for the evening acts and some more quality dress ware from the cracking on site charity 'vintage' shop...
Justin Timberlake was set to close the festival on what turned out to be a great evening...
Featuring an amazing brass band, guitarists and of course some decent enough dance moves to inspire every male member of the audience to get to dance school...
With the festival over it was time to head back to camp and hit the hay, no-one would've expected to be greeted to the site of four burning vans...(fortunately no injuries)
V done, time to scour the fields for some festival left overs, unlimited supplies of beers for the next event...
Creamfields get ready!

Camp bestival - basement jaxx & their robots, ballerinas, gorillas, big mummas, neon morph dancers & dancing kangaroos!

The title says it all, basement jaxx were almost disturbingly insane as usual, featuring giant size robots and gorillas on stage...
On the lead up to this Camp Bestival had on offer the best festival site by far, only moments from Lulworth Cove...
As usual Tettys food was "bare banging bruv", Unfortunatly the food disappeared so fast on some nights that David Attemboroughs time lapse cameras would've come in handy...
Chicken and chorizo stew.

Too small for the little ones to watch the show? Hope up in one of the viewing towers...
At last someone has found a use for caravans. Get them off the road, cut them up and make a "vint-age darling" caravan hangout...
If the wait for the premier leave was too eagerly anticipated then head down for some medical jousting lulworth vs corfe.
De la Soul were set to headline Friday with an epic sun set over the castle this was sure to be a top evening! With funky hip hop beats being blasted out to every corner of the festival.
Basement jaxx were on for the finale, sure to be a good show and never fail to impress with an insanely emergetic show, resembling somewhat of a group of kids with ADHD after consuming 10 packs of tamgfastics...
On stage were ballerinas, gorillas, robots, peacocks, kangaroos you name it! Not to mention the insane dj-ing accompanied by the soulful like vocals and whacky dancing from the big mummas...
The castle wouldn't be complete with a shrek style fair tail ending...
Bohemian rhapsody was set for a grand finale and a helluva load of fireworks...
Next stop cowes week, from bell tents to boats, all aboard...
